Sound Enclosure
Encloses high noise equipment to block its sound, delivering 20 to 40dB of isolation, rapid to assemble and suited to a wide range of industrial machinery.
Specifications
| Isolation | 20 to 40dB |
|---|---|
| Shell material | 2 to 3mm steel, aluminum or stainless |
Key Features
- Rapid disassembly and installation
- Outer surface isolates while the inner surface absorbs
- Optional acoustic doors and windows
- Monitoring for temperature, airflow, fire, gas and smoke
- Waterproof, moisture resistant and ultraviolet resistant
A Sound Enclosure seals off high noise equipment and blocks the propagation and spread of its sound, with isolation reaching 20 to 40dB. The shell is constructed from airtight metal, typically 2 to 3mm steel plate with a damping layer, and may be fabricated from aluminum or stainless steel where the application requires it.
The enclosure assembles and disassembles rapidly, with the inner and outer surfaces performing absorption and isolation respectively. Acoustic doors and windows may be added, together with monitoring and control systems for temperature, airflow, fire and gas. The body is waterproof, moisture resistant and ultraviolet resistant, making it suitable for long term use in both indoor and outdoor environments.
Sound enclosures are suited to machine tools such as presses and milling machines, power equipment such as air compressors, fans and pumps, and heavy plant such as blowers, generators, transformers and crushers. They are also used for the acoustic treatment of outdoor air conditioning units and workshop offices.
Presses and milling machines, air compressors, fans and pumps, blowers, generators, transformers, crushers, ball mills and motors, as well as outdoor air conditioning units and workshop offices.
