Key Features
- Full free field with 360 degree free propagation
- Absorption coefficient of 99% or greater
- Background noise 6 to 12dB below the source
- Compliant with ISO 3745, ANSI S12.55 and GB 6882
The Wedge Anechoic Chamber provides a full free field space in which sound waves propagate freely through a complete 360 degree solid angle, forming the foundation of precise acoustic measurement. Within the chamber, the background noise level remains at least 6dB below the source under test, and as much as 12dB below it under favorable conditions, ensuring accurate and repeatable results.
The wall wedges are designed according to quarter wavelength theory, and their length determines the chamber’s low frequency absorption capability. Above the cut off frequency, the absorption system attains a coefficient of 99% or greater. The chamber rests on a floating vibration isolated structure with multi layer acoustic doors and windows, minimizing the influence of external vibration and noise.
The product satisfies international standards such as ISO 3745 and ANSI S12.55 as well as the GB 6882 national standard, and is widely applied in acoustic research, noise testing and sound power determination. Anteck provides a complete service, from acoustic calculation and dimensional planning through to on site installation and third party acceptance.
