The wedge anechoic chamber provides a full free field space in which sound waves spread freely through a complete 360 degree solid angle, which is the foundation of precise acoustic measurement. Inside, the background noise sits at least 6dB below the source under test, and as much as 12dB below it in good conditions, so results stay accurate and repeatable.

The wall wedges follow quarter wavelength theory, and their length sets how well the room absorbs low frequencies. Above the cut off frequency the absorption system reaches a coefficient of 99% or more. The whole room rests on a floating vibration isolated structure with multi layer acoustic doors and windows, which keeps outside vibration and noise to a minimum.

The product meets international standards such as ISO 3745 and ANSI S12.55 as well as the GB 6882 national standard, and is widely used for acoustic research, noise testing and sound power determination. We handle the complete job, from the acoustic calculation and size planning through to on site installation and third party acceptance.

Applications: Acoustic research, noise testing, sound power determination and evaluation of electroacoustic devices.
