Key Features
- Patented curved track automatic door with a complete seal
- Exterior within 75dB and interior within 35dB(A)
- Integrates with the conveyor for automated batch inspection
- Low noise floor with significant time savings
The In Line Production Acoustic Test Room employs a patented curved track design, so that when the automatic door closes it presses tightly against the isolating wall and seals the room completely, achieving very high isolation. It is engineered for the in line testing of mass produced goods and is widely applied across the automotive, electrical and home appliance industries.
In terms of isolation, the exterior remains within 75dB and the interior within 35dB(A). Below 500Hz the sound reduction remains within 30dB, and across the 500 to 4000Hz band it remains within 50dB. A typical unit measures approximately 2000 by 2000 by 2000mm externally and 1700 by 1700 by 1800mm internally.
Products enter the room on the conveyor, the automatic door closes for the acoustic test, and once the test is complete the door opens and the product proceeds. The result is a low noise floor, a high level of automation and substantial time savings. This solution has been adopted by Panasonic, Bosch, Mitsubishi, BenQ and Valeo.
